We are a CAA approved helicopter training centre based at Tatenhill Airfield near Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. There has been a helicopter training centre here serving the greater Midlands area for over seven years.
Quality flight instruction is the key to safely capturing the skills needed to master the art of flying a helicopter. At Staffordshire Helicopters, custom designed, CAA approved courses take you from entry level to the most advanced qualification possible. Over the years, we have carefully developed our own syllabus that plan the activities of each lesson to the last detail. This maximizes the amount of learning on each flight so that you will get the most efficient, cost effective training possible. Staffordshire Helicopters has a fleet of four R-22 helicopters and two R-44 helicopters that we use for training. If you require:

One of our aims is to encourage our pilots to gain as much experience as possible before and after gaining their PPL(H). We will also assist with helicopter purchase, group purchase or purchase and lease back.
The lessons are usually conducted in the popular Robinson R22 Dual Control 2 seater Helicopter, or alternatively in the Robinson R44 Dual Control 4 seater Helicopter if you would like to take someone else along with you.
